The Definition of Time Without Using Math

Time lives in our minds because clocks don't show the time. A clock ticks at the same rate as the Earth rotates, and the numbers on a clock’s display visually represent the Earth’s rotation. 

We convert the numbers into the day's time. Therefore, time is a numerical measure of Earth’s motion.

Any constant motion can be used as a clock. In ancient times the motion of the Sun across the sky was known as time. The day's sunlight started at dawn and ended at dusk, and the night was without sunlight. 

We still use the motion of our planet to give us the duration of one day and one year. As you can see, time is a measurement of motion. 

But time doesn’t exist as a separate thing; time exists in the motion of things. 

A clock converts motion into numbers, and we use some math to calculate the time. So, to know the time, you need to use some math, and that’s why time lives in our minds.

Is Time an Illusion?

We can't touch or see time.

You can say time is an illusion because a clock doesn't show the time. A clock doesn't measure time it shows numbers during the Earth's rotation. 

A clock is a tool with a display that ticks 86,400 times daily. Each tick is called a second and corresponds to a fraction of one day. 

The amazing thing about clocks is that 60 ticks equal one minute, 60 minutes is one hour, and 24 hours is one day. 

Clocks display numbers, and we learn to translate the numbers into time. Clocks are motion measuring tools, and we give power to the numbers by calling them "time." 

The illusion of time is that it controls our lives, and we do everything depending on the numbers a clock shows. 

Your Birthday on Earth

Your birthday and the time of your birth are based on the motion of Earth. 

We have been misled by time. 

A clock is an invention that ticks at the rate of Earth's rotation. Time and our age are measurements of motion.  

The universe has an absolute age which is the same age everywhere in the universe. The age of a person or the age of a planet moves at the same rate. 

This rate isn’t based on time but on the universe's motion. 

The only constant in the universe is the motion that started at the beginning of the Big Bang event, and that motion is still moving.

Time doesn’t exist in the universe as we think of time. 

We use the speed of Earth's rotation to calculate time, and then we use the speed of our clocks to calculate the motion of everything else in the universe. 

The expansion of the universe doesn’t move based on our clocks. The age of the universe moves forward with the speed of light that started at the Big Bang. 

Likewise, your age moves at the same absolute speed as the universe. You measure your age with a calendar and clock, but time doesn’t make you older. 

You get older with the motion you experience. The number of trips you took around the Sun is your age. 

Time has no force or power over physical reality, and time doesn’t exist except in our minds. Wow, I bet you don’t believe what I just said. 

Have you heard about time dilation? If time doesn’t cause things to happen, then time dilation certainly doesn’t either. 

Time dilation happens to a clock's mechanism and display. 

The force of gravity upon a clock is the cause of time dilation, but the change to a clock doesn’t change the absolute time or age of the universe. 

Traveling at the speed of light doesn’t change your age. It changes a clock’s rate of ticking. Time and time dilation do not change your age. 

Time is a number on a clock, and numbers have no physical power. 

However, the gravitational force that changes the clock will also change your biological processes leading to your death.

Could Humans Know the Secret to Time Travel?

Is time travel possible?

Time travel isn't possible, but people can remember living in the past or the future. 

Humans are multidimensional beings like monarch butterflies because our soul never dies. 

Sometimes we remember a past life in our dreams. The secret to time travel is to understand where we came from. We are souls from the realm that created the universe. 

You and I have lived as a poor farmer and a rich king in a futuristic and ancient world. 

Each time you are reborn, you decide the life you want to experience. 

If you are poor or disabled in this life, it's difficult to understand why you picked this life. 

The answer is complicated, and only your soul knows. I hope that helps to explain the secret of time travel.

What is Time Travel in Physics, and Is it Possible?

Any evidence of time travel is fake or misunderstood. Time is a human concept based on the rotation of our planet, and the universe has been moving and expanding at the speed of light since it began. 

It’s impossible to go to another place in the universe and be at a different moment (time) of the motion moving at the speed of light.

But it's possible to travel through a wormhole or portal into another place if such a portal existed. 

However, you don’t arrive in a different “time” of the universe. You will always be in the same moment in the universe. 

But if you travel to a very advanced civilization, you would think you have traveled to the future. 

This explains why time isn’t a means of travel because we mistake the universe's motion for time. Please share this answer so time travelers can look for their wormholes. 

Does Light Move Through Space and Time?

When light travels in space, it moves at the fastest possible speed. If the light doesn’t hit anything in space, it will keep moving forward forever. 

Similarly, the universe is expanding at the speed of light. We are moving inside the universe, which is our vehicle, so we can move at any speed inside our vehicle while the universe continues expanding at the speed of light.

The universe is full of motion, and inside atoms, quarks, and electrons are moving at the speed of light. 

We have measured the speed of light and other electromagnetic waves with atomic clocks, but clocks don’t measure time. 

Clocks measure the motion or duration of events and activities. Light doesn’t travel through time. 

The speed of light is measured with clocks, and time is a measurement of motion but not the cause of motion.
