What is Time and How Does it Work
Definition of Time
Time is defined as a measurement of what the clock shows. The speed of time is one hour per hour. This is a scalar quantity like the ones used to define a property of matter, such as mass, length or temperature.
But is time physical or nonphysical and can we time travel, shrink and stretch time or is it invariant? You might be surprised to find the answer.

How did Time Start
If you're like me you think there isn’t enough time to do the things you want. Yet how much do we really know about time?
Time began in the universe when light entered during the “big bang” event. I wonder if time is related to the frequency of that light energy.
A constant in the Universe is the speed of light in a vacuum, so the frequency of light times the wavelength is always equal to the speed of light. Right?
Energy and Time
Something in the relationship of energy and time is motion and the meaning of time.
Light is made up of individual quanta called photons and photons always move at the speed of light unless they hit something.
We can say that the speed of light is dependent on the speed of time and they exist together as motion.
The motion of light is based on its frequency which moves due to the motion of time which is constant and unchanging.
Since the speed of light is invariant then time itself must be invariant (unchanging).
A photon particle always travels at light speed. The wave frequency (time) and wavelength adjust to always move at the speed of light, (the speed of time).
How does Time work
Time works with the energy of the motion of light. The standard of time is based on the photon radiation that created the universe.
During the big bang energy of high frequency photon radiation created matter, namely, the electron.
We can say that energy created electrons and the measure of time in that energy transferred the quality of time to electrons. (see video of electron)
Electron particles have a rotating energy field like a photon moving at the speed of light.
This electron energy field can be manipulated by force to produce light (photons).
After the Big bang all light radiation including the cosmic microwave background was created by electrons.
I find this to be mind-blowing knowledge! Without electrons light doesn't exist.
Light and all photons have a constant speed of c, approximately 3 x 10^8 meters per second.
We can deduce that there is a relationship between electrons and the speed of light.
There must have been a movement of time during the Big bang photon radiation that was transferred into the construction of electrons.
Electrons always produce photon radiation at the perfect speed of light that governs not only the speed of light but the speed of time.
Measuring Time with Vibrations
Measuring time only tells us a numerical quantity of time but tells us nothing about time itself.
When it comes to measuring quantum fluctuations and very short durations of time, scientists use an atomic clock.
An atomic clock uses the frequency of atoms to make clocks that are accurate up to one second in a billion years.
Standard time of one second is when the Cesium 133 atom has completed 9,192,631,770 cycles.
To be accurate it must be at a certain set of conditions. For instance, temperature, pressure and standard gravity.
Time is a non physical aspect that governs the motion of energy. Matter has electrons and a property of time that governs its rate of vibration.
This vibration or frequency of matter can change when any force is applied to matter.
Light radiation emitted from heated matter will reflect as a different color or frequency but the speed or motion of that light remains constant and invariant.
A clock (or matter) can be subject to an external force such as extra motion or a change in mass (gravity).
According to the theory of relativity, the mass and frequency of its atoms will change.
The change in frequency in a clock’s atoms changes the rate of a clock’s time but not time itself.
Quantum vibrations and fluctuations take place in unbelievable small amounts of time. The measurement of such small times are accomplished by atomic clocks.
Atomic clock’s measurement of time is only accurate if the atoms of the clock stay at standard temperature, pressure and gravity.
Time is related to the frequency of light by the constant speed of light in the vacuum of space.
Clocks will display an inaccurate time if they are moving or experiencing a change in gravity.
Atomic Clock Accuracy
A man with a watch knows what time it is. A man with 2 watches is never sure…
A version of an atomic clock during testing for precision of time keeping.
A Cesium 133 atomic clock is accurate to one second in 300 million years if the clock is not moving and is in standard temperature and atmospheric pressure (gravity).
The measure of one second is when a Cesium 133 atom has completed 9,192,631,770 cycles.
However, if a cesium-133 atom in an atomic clock is traveling at a fast speed it will gain mass energy and vibrate at a slower rate which will appear to show less time.
If the cesium clock is orbiting Earth it experiences less gravity and the vibrating atoms will move faster then the time on its clock will appear to show more time.
Thus, it seems that time is moving faster or slower, but it’s only the measure of the clock that changes and not time itself.
The frequency of atomic clocks is altered slightly by gravity, magnetic fields, electrical fields, motion, force, temperature and other phenomena.
Because all physical clocks are altered by physical conditions they will not show the correct time when compared to a clock in a secure and stable condition.
For this reason atomic clocks in the GPS satellites must be corrected daily to remain accurate to earth based clocks.
Time Dilation Examples
Satellites that give us GPS locations use atomic clocks to keep track of time. Physical matter contains protons and neutrons which are affected by the energy field they travel in.
The GPS system always needs to have at least 3 satellites seeing your position.
The GPS system has 24 satellites orbiting Earth. Relativity, or time dilation adjustments are performed daily to compensate for the time difference between clocks on Earth.
The difference in speed causes the satellite time to go slower by 7 microseconds daily and due to the smaller gravitational force in space the satellite time goes faster by 45 microseconds.
Therefore the satellite's time is adjusted to go slower by 38 microseconds daily for each satellite.
What causes Time Dilation
Physical matter will gain more mass (more gravity) and slow down the rate of molecular frequency the faster matter moves.
According to Einstein’s theory of relativity, traveling near the speed of light changes matter.
Matter becomes foreshortened in the direction of travel, it will gain a massive amount of mass and time will slow down to a near stop. This is partly false!
Since light photons have no gravity they are able to travel at light speed. However, a particle such as a proton has gravity so it can’t travel at light speed.
This means that any particle that has quarks and gluons (known as hadrons) has a speed limit less than the speed of light.
Einstein’s time dilation only affects the clock’s time and not time itself.
Even on Earth we experience a small time dilation because we are moving through space on a revolving planet that has a gravity field.
Quantum Gravity Creates Time Dilation
Matter contains protons and neutrons which have gluons and quarks. The strong nuclear force binds quarks and gluons together to make matter.
Gluons have a force like glue that holds matter together and this attractive force is the source of quantum gravity.
The mass of atoms is 99% due to the binding force of gluons.
Because quarks are attracted to other quarks the additive force of gravity keeps getting larger with more mass.
When matter is in a stronger gravity field the quark-gluon force is subject to an outside force of gravity.
That means the strong nuclear force must work harder to hold matter together.
For instance, inside a star the strong force of gravity breaks down matter into a plasma of quarks and gluons.
Inside Black holes the strong gravity would also break matter into a plasma.
This extra energy is equivalent to more mass and it slows down the molecular frequency of matter resulting in clocks running slower.
The reverse is true, if a clock is in a weaker gravity field. The quark/gluon force has less work to do so molecular frequency speeds up and the atomic clock vibrates faster.
Time seems to move faster compared to a clock in the standard condition.
Consider that time itself and the speed of light remains unchanged.
Universal laws maintain that the speed of light is invariant and therefore, time which governs the speed of light is also invariant and constant.
The frequency and wavelength of photons compensate to always equal the speed of light.
In quantum reactions the compensation is in the quantum gravity force where energy is translated into mass.
In classic relativity it’s still the (quantum gravity) force of gravity that changes energy into mass.
Time itself is never altered.
Can Quantum Gravity Change Time
Since time is invariant and gravity comes from the gluon force of quantum reactions Einstein’s theory of spacetime is built on falsehoods.
However, Einstein didn’t know about quarks/gluons and the strong nuclear force. If he did, he wouldn’t have come up with a theory that gravity distorts space.
I believe he would have said that gravity is a force of attraction between quarks.
Einstein would have said that time dilation in general relativity is the result of the quark/gluon reactions.
He would have said that time is invariant and that clocks are giving a false reading due to changes in quantum gravity.
He might have said also that light must have a small mass because it bends in a strong field of gravity.
The simple truth is that time is not a dimension and space cannot be stretched or distorted. The arrow of time moves only one way.
Quantum gravity changes the mass and therefore, the frequency of atoms in an
atomic clock. This changes the clock’s time measurement not time itself.
Time is a nonphysical aspect of matter and time itself is a quality from the nonphysical realm that created the Big bang.
In our physical world time entered with the energy of light and it's a part of all matter in its motion and frequency.
Matter can be altered by a force but time itself must be invariant for the laws of physics to work.
Time, then is a nonphysical thing that provides motion to a physical world.
The quality of motion that all matter possesses within its vibrations is called time. This quality of time is a fundamental thing that brings life to physical things.
The nonphysical quality of time cannot be manipulated or changed by physical means.
Therefore, time is constant and invariant at all times.
Without time nothing physical can exist and time is the one thing that must exist before anything is possible.
The universe can’t come from nothing without time. Realize that time must have existed before the universe was born.
The nonphysical quality of time comes from a non-physical realm outside the Universe.
Since time exists outside of the universe and all energy and matter needs time in order to work.
Therefore, the energy of the big bang and time came from outside of the universe from a nonphysical place (dimension).
Inside this philosophical logic is the proof that other dimensions exist and also that the Universe was a creation from that other dimension.
Time is Invariant
The purpose of this article is to show that time is constant and unchanging.
The profound implications are that time travel isn't possible and that the theory of relativity has some false assumptions.
Forget about time travel for now, what about Einstein’s theory of relativity.
Scientists have proved Einstein’s theory of time dilation. Time dilation is used in the GPS system to keep satellite time equal to our Earth based time.
According to the theory of relativity the faster an object moves the slower time moves for that object. Why does that happen if time is a nonphysical thing?
Quantum gravity is the reason why time dilation exists and it is the basis for the proof of my theory that time is invariant.
Einstein’s Theory of Gravity
Einstein’s general relativity tries to prove that the force of gravity is equal to acceleration.
One of the happiest moments of Einstein’s intuition was when he realized that if you fall in a field of gravity you feel no effects of gravity.
In fact you feel weightless with no sensation of weight. This thought lead Einstein to equate gravity to acceleration because they seem to be exactly the same.
Einstein mentioned in his thought experiment, that if a rocket ship was accelerating at the same force as the gravity on Earth then the person inside the ship would feel gravity exactly as on Earth.
Einstein concluded that gravity is the same as acceleration and he went on to publish his General Relativity to describe gravity as a distortion of spacetime.
But I believe that gravity and acceleration are not the same. They can have the same value of force and the same effect on mass but the force acting upon that mass is not the same.
For example, if you fall down for one second you fell down about 9.8 meters. This is a gravitational force of 9.8 newtons for 1 second.
In the rocket ship the acceleration of the ship is the force of 9.8 newtons per second per second that mimics the force of gravity.
These are not the same force! On Earth it is gravity and on the rocket ship it’s the engine power. Only the amount of force is equal, but the type of force is different.
The description of the effect can be shown like a curved surface where objects move according to the shape of a 2-dimensional rubber surface.
This is an example of the geometry of space telling objects how to move. But this is only the description of how gravity moves objects. This is not the force that creates gravity.
Einstein concluded that gravity isn’t a force. But I say a description of objects moving in space is just a description of motion and not the force of gravity.
Gravity moves objects towards each other in a geometrical fashion.
However, gravity is a force field of energy not curved space.
Energy of Motion
At CERN the large hadron collider experiments have proved that accelerating a proton to almost the speed of light requires enormous energy.
The proton’s top speed was only able to go to 99.999991% of the speed of light but at the same time the mass of the proton increased exponentially.
Applying more energy to the proton only increases the mass and not the speed. This shows the equivalence of energy and mass, E=mc^2.
The speed of light still carries the value of time regardless of the mass of an object.
According to special relativity, an atomic clock shows that time slows down when travelling at fast speeds.
This is the same result that quantum gravity predicts. However, time should be invariant.
What is happening to seemingly slow down time?
How does Time Slow Down
Atomic clocks rely on the accurate frequency of atoms. Thus they are inaccurate if they are moving because of gravitational, and physical effects caused by motion.
According to quantum gravity theory any extra energy will result in more mass not more speed.
Because the extra energy adds more mass the frequency of a proton slows down. Imagine the frequency change to the quarks and gluons.
The color charge and quantum chromodynamics (QCD) of quarks and gluons inside matter must slow down their vibrations when faced with extra energy.
But this is a physical change of energy to matter and not a change to time or the speed of light.
Atomic clocks will slow down if they are moving because of the extra energy of quantum gravity.
Gravity and speed don’t affect photons and electrons so the electron remains the same energy and so does its vibrations of time.
If a particle gains mass because of massive motion it will slow down it’s rate of vibrations and a clock would run slower but the particle is still the same age.
If you apply heat to that particle if will vibrate faster and if you take away the heat it will slow down its frequency but time remains unchanged.
The speed of light is invariant and remains the same regardless of gravity or the temperature of photons and likewise the speed of time is invariant.
The speed of light is unchanging or invariant.
The speed of light comes from the electrons energy field.
This speed is the speed of time which is invariant.
Electrons always create light at the speed of time, which is the speed of light.
Time dilation is the result of motion force or gravity on the measuring device.
Time dilation comes from the quantum gravity force in quarks and gluons.
Einstein’s theory of gravity is false because gravity is a force.
Time is a nonphysical quality of matter and is invariant.
