  • Do Extra Dimensions Exist?

    Do Extra Dimensions Exist?

    Do Extra Dimensions Exist?

Extra Dimensions? What is a dimension, when you are talking about different realities such as the spiritual part of you or the dream world and that science fiction movie with aliens that you watched?

What are your dimensions? Are you small, medium or large? Do extra dimensions exist?    Dimensions are tools needed to separate reality from source. (Erik Lovin)

If I want to build a house on my lot, I have to draw the dimensions of the lot and the location and size of the house to get a building permit. When I decorate a room I want to know the dimensions of the couch and where it will fit inside the room.

Are Dimensions only the size of physical objects?

Mathematicians and scientists use dimensions to describe a location in a space.

For instance, they start by using a graph on paper or on a monitor screen using x and y coordinates. They call this a 2 dimensional graph and then by adding the third coordinates z they can describe the location of any particle inside a space.

But there are also 3 directions to describe the size of a particle in this 3 dimensional space.

They have defined both a location using 3 directions and the size of an object using 3 directions as dimensions and this is the basic flaw in understanding what is a dimension when talking about physics and the universe.

For instance, they talk about a 2 dimensional picture on a piece of paper or on the screen but they never consider that the thickness of the molecules on the screen is the 3rd direction.

As a matter of fact, every image or drawing has 3 directions and is an image in 3 dimensions. Even a single dot on a screen has 3 directions in size and can be called 3 dimensional in physics because, the thickness of the dot is the 3rd direction in the z coordinate.

Consider this then, to describe where that dot is on planet Earth we need the degrees of longitude and degrees of latitude and then we need to know if it’s on the ground floor or on the 31st floor. So again, that single dot is 3 dimensional in its location.

But, this only gives the location of the dot and not the description of the dot or in what medium that dot lives in. Is it in a box or on a piece of paper, a computer?

Now if the dot moves we have to define the time and speed of the movement.  But adding time to the description doesn’t make the dot 4 dimensional because, time isn’t a dimension. We will discuss time another time.

At any moment the dot still has 3 dimensions of size and 3 dimensions of location. We can define a dot by its size and by its location but we always need 3 directions so we call it a 3 dimensional object inside a 3 dimensional space.

    Are Dimensions Confusing you?

Is a dimension the size of the dot or the location of the dot or maybe it’s the space where the size of the dot and the location of the dot is living?

Consider this, if planet Earth would be that dot inside the universe. This is the same analogy on a larger scale. The 3 dimensional planet of a certain size in a 3 dimensional location inside a 3 dimensional universe.

Note that now we have 3 items that are dimensions, the size of Earth, the location of Earth and the space or universe where we live.

What is a dimension, is it more than the size of measurements?

    The 3rd Dimension?

We say we live in the 3rd dimension. Are we talking about our dot, planet Earth, the Milky Way Galaxy or the entire Universe?

Most of us are only thinking of our home dimensions and neighborhood locations but we don’t understand dimensions as being the invisible space around us.

How do we describe a dot? A round circular image that sits on a piece of paper that sits in an office building that is on a bigger dot of our world which lives in a solar system in the Milky Way Galaxy which is somewhere in the universe.

Notice that we have been talking about a size and a location but we haven’t talked about where the dot lives. What surrounds the area of the dot, what color is the dot, what shape, what is inside the dot, what is the mass and frequency of the dot and the surrounding area?

If we imagine the dot is planet Earth we know all these things, even the frequency of Earth known as the Schumann resonance which has been increasing lately.

Nikola Tesla, said “ if you want to understand matter, study frequency energy and vibration.”

    Our 3rd Dimension

But what is the space surrounding a dot? Is it the flat piece of paper, the computer screens the Earth or the universe? Maybe even the universe is inside something else?

Imagine the space around the dot is the dimension where the dot lives. Using the word dimension in this way means more than a location. It actually means the substance around the location.

With the dot on a piece of paper the dimension is a thin paper and the dimension around the office is a building. The dimension around the building is Earth and the dimension around Earth is the solar system and around that the Milky Way Galaxy and finally the visible universe.

So our dimension is the space where the visible universe lives. We call this the 3rd dimension.

    The Frequency of Dimensions

Sometimes words are inadequate to describe things like the universe. We should have another word to describe the space where our universe lives. Any ideas? Maybe Density? The 3rd Dimension is the most dense and the start of Evolution. The 4th Dimension is  less dense and has higher frequencies. Sounds OK? That means a less dense dimension has higher frequency matter?

We can measure the size, mass and location of the objects that are inside of the universe and physicists are studying galaxies and stars to understand more about the universe. This sounds like the study of dots instead of the dimension that the dot is in.

But, scientists are also monitoring the frequency of Earth and the frequency of the universe. This is an important but not a well-known research because it is describing the space around the dot itself instead of the size and location of the dot.

Knowing more about the space we live inside involves the study of matter, energy and frequency.

Nikola Tesla said “we have 2 sets of eyes: the physical eyes and the spiritual eyes and we should merge them into one.”

    Do Other Dimensions Exist?

Science has already proved that other dimensions exist but they can’t verify it in experiments so they have hit a roadblock in their thinking.

The Big Bang proves that the energy that created the universe came from somewhere outside of this dimension. When are we going to be wise enough to understand that everything works by the laws of physics and these laws are not the invention of man.

These laws came with the Big Bang singularity that created the universe. Don’t be so ignorant in your wisdom that you believe the laws of physics were created after the Big Bang. This fact alone is proof that other dimensions exist.

Measurements of the mass of our visible universe (dimension) says that only about 4% of the matter is inside our visible dimension. Where is the rest of the matter?

The invisible 96% of matter has been named dark matter and energy. They have been looking for this matter for 10 years at the Large Hadron Collider which was built in CERN Switzerland and after billions and billions of dollars and many years of research they haven’t found one piece of it.

My theory is that dark matter exists in some another dimension that has been incorrectly called a parallel universe.  More on that subject follows and also in an article when we talk about matter and antimatter during the Big Bang reaction.

We all know that we are living on Earth which is a 3 dimensional world and we say this is the 3rd dimension. You cannot have more or less than 3 directions in any dimension.

But if you use the 3 directions of space as the only description of a dimension then it’s not possible to have other dimensions because places only have 3 spatial directions.

I have already shown that there is no 1st or 2nd dimension of space except in mathematics but physical objects need 3 dimensions, or more accurately 3 directions to be real.

So if a dimension is real it must have only 3 directions and it is 3rd dimensional or commonly called our visible universe.

    Importance of Frequencies

This space or dimension that our visible universe lives in is invisible. The only visible things are the matter inside this 3rd dimension. However, one other way to describe our dimension is by the frequency of energy.

This is where it gets weird because the frequency of Earth is the Schumann Resonance which has been increasing. Consider that our universe also has a frequency because it is full of energy and it has been suggested that it’s like a musical note.

The frequency of 432 hz has a special meaning with the Eastern yogis, Hindu or Buddhists who have said that when they meditate they can hear this sound and see the colors of sound.

They say that our visible universe lives inside this 3rd dimension which has a frequency of 432 hz and it lives inside another dimension. This seems weird but makes sense.

Our planet also has a certain frequency just like the 3rd dimension of the Universe has a certain frequency. Is it possible to have a 4th,5th or 6th dimension that have different

    frequencies from our dimension?

The colors of light are only separated by the frequency of the color and the entire electromagnetic spectrum is made up of many various frequencies.

Can you imagine a dimension that doesn’t have any physical matter and therefore, no frequency? Such an idea is impossible for us to imagine because it’s nothingness.

But wait a minute, what if our 3rd dimension (the visible universe) is like a bubble or like a layer inside of this other nothingness dimension?

    Dimensions and Frequencies

We have scientific proof of the Big Bang that created our dimension which means that other dimensions must exist.

Remember that we are talking about dimensions as being a space that has a certain frequency.

This new definition of dimension means even the invisible space of nothingness and in that nothingness we have our visible universe.

This changes everything. If a dimension has a certain frequency, then it’s possible to have other dimensions of different frequencies.

For instance, photons have different frequencies so radio stations can send out radio waves at different frequencies but they exist in the same dimension or space. Think about cable television sending many different TV shows inside the same cable but separated by a different frequency.

In this way dimensions would exist in the same space separated by frequencies.

Think of dimensions as being different frequencies in the same Universe, kind of like subway stations are all on the same train track but separated by some space or some dimension.

Are you wondering how far each dimension is from another dimension? Think about a rainbow where the colors are separated by frequencies but they are still inside the same rainbow or the same physical dimension.

Each color is a frequency that makes up the rainbow dimension and outside of the rainbow there is another dimension and so on

Dimensions are tools needed to create a Universe. Erik Lovin (2019)

    A Story of Extra Dimensions

If you have watched the Olympics you may have seen the art of synchronous swimming? Teams of swimmers perform acrobatic movements and dance underwater, as well as on top of the water.

Imagine that we have 2 sets of audiences watching this performance. One audience only sees what happens above the water and the other audience only sees what is inside the water. The water surface acts like a membrane that allows only one kind of view.

Also imagine that each audience knows nothing about the other audience. They each  believe that their universe is the only one. Now, each universe would be asking why can’t they see the whole show, because they feel that something is missing. Is there another way that will show them the entire sequence of events?

Suppose someone found out about the other dimension or hyperspace and saw it? They would come back and say amazing things, such as people live inside a dense medium of water and don’t breath air. Or they might see bright light and beings living in this light.  What kind of a foolish story is that, say the people. Yet they feel that it answers some questions about their universe.

We are the people who only see our world of air. We can’t imagine that another dimension exists, especially one that has people living inside a different medium. To understand the universe we must allow the belief that we are not alone. Think outside our dimension.

    How many Dimensions are there?

This image of an onion shows an analogy how dimensions can add up to the total Universe. Each dimension has a higher frequency that is separated by a phase transition like the membranes between layers in an onion, while the onion represents the total Universe.

The 3rd dimension is our visible universe at the center of the onion and the other higher dimensions can be explained using superstring theory and frequencies.

Superstring theory says that 9 or 11 dimensions exist but most of the extra dimensions are said to be curled tightly inside our 3rd dimension.

That is the wrong conclusion which is based only on the mathematics because they didn’t know that dimensions are separated from each other by frequencies and not by distances or directions as in the simple meaning of dimensions.

String theory suggests that vibrations of energy define the state of matter. When this vibration goes beyond a certain frequency then a higher frequency dimension is available.

And, when matter increases in frequency it must transition into a higher dimension. Imagine the onion image and each layer is separated by a membrane like a phase transition.

In string theory this membrane is a phase transition between dimensions. The mathematics say 9 or 11 dimensions exist depending on how you count.

Mathematically you can have a 1st and 2nd dimension but in physicality you start at the 3rd dimension and increase to the 11th dimension which is a total of 9 separate dimensions.

    Physical and Nonphysical

As the energy or frequency increases matter fimally changes into a plasma resembling the substance that was present at the time of the Big Bang. Life started in the 3rd dimension and will evolve into the 4th and 5th dimensions. The 6th dimension is a transition into the 7th nonphysical world.

This means that at a certain frequency a phase transition occurs inside Black Holes and matter is sent into a  less dense, higher frequency physical dimension.

What that really means is that many of the dimensions have frequencies so high that all matter becomes non-physical (only energy and information).

At what point or what dimension does this phase transition separate the physical from the nonphysical, the body from the spirit?

Consider the implications of this process! This allows us a scientific theory that goes back in time before the Big Bang into dimensions that are all energy and into the source that created this universe.

Yes, this is divine architecture or the blueprint to creation. However, we aren’t calling this the work of God. This is Science and we are searching for the scientific process that created our universe from universal laws.

We are not worshipping science or a god, that’s what religions do. We are searching for the science that makes all things possible. God and what is God is a whole other topic beyond dimensions.

Remember that God is beyond our imagination. Whatever God is, it is omnipotent (unlimited power), omnipresence (everywhere), omniscience (all knowing), dimensionless and unbounded (no limits). It is in all things and nothing is beyond this Source.

    Beyond this Dimension

Metaphysics is the study of the realms that regular science can’t see or touch. Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy that studies the essence of a thing. This includes questions of being, becoming, existence, and reality.

Nikola Tesla said “When science studies the non-physical properties of matter they will make more progress in one year than in all the years since existence.”

In the Eastern philosophy they speak of a golden bridge that separates this world from an unseen world, a physical body from a spiritual body.

This bridge is the pathway between the physical and the non-physical. The information says this happens between the 6th and 7th dimensions.

Dimensions are like the layers in an onion separated by frequencies not by distance. In my drawing the 3rd Dimension is the most dense and is at the start of reality that we are aware of as the visible universe. Black Holes are constantly changing matter into higher frequencies as matter moves into less dense regions getting closer to the non physical dimensions.

    Metaphysical thoughts about Life

If this is true then this is the place where the universe ends and all energy returns to the source in the 7th dimension as it obeys the Law of Conservation of energy.

Think of it as the Big Bang going in reverse.

The video of life ends as all matter and Life is reborn into the energy that created it.

When would this transformation process take place? It depends on when Matter has evolved into high enough vibrations to move into the 6th dimension and hopefully humans have evolved to understand the nature and evolution of consciousness.

That’s what the metaphysical information says! What they are really talking about is evolving consciousness to the oneness of the Source dimension that created the universe. This goes into areas that are beyond math and science.

    More Questions!

Let’s not get too far into the non-physical since we first have to wake up from our long period of darkness.

The study of our evolution involves questions such as why are we here, who are we and what is our purpose in life? Where did consciousness and all the universal laws that operate the universe come from? Was the universe created for us and how was it created?

The plans for our universe must have been prepared and activated in the higher non-physical dimensions. But it seems that energy was pushed out at the 7th dimension level into the physical dimensions and it ended up at the densest possible 3rd dimension following the Big Bang event.

Therefore, the energy must return into the 7th dimension and beyond to maintain the Law of Conservation of Energy.

In this drawing the Big Bang energy entered the 6th dimension at the left and in one second ended up at the 3rd dimension during several quantum fluctuations. 13 billion years later this dimension is moving into the 4th and 5th dimensions by the power of gravity inside Black Holes. Eventually these entangled matter / antimatter dimensions will meet at the 6th dimension to move the energy back to its source.

The Big Bang was the birth of physically and when it goes back it will be the death of the universe. Just like any birth there is always a death.

Death is only a change of one energy into a different energy. You can’t destroy energy you can only change it into other forms. The universe was created, by changing energy into matter.

    In Conclusion

Science makes everything work and our quest is to understand how the universe works.

Knowledge is power and knowing how energy works allows us to create more, do more and evolve more into the spirit that is our true self.

Dimensions are the keys to understand how the universe works and how the universe moves into higher dimensions on a journey back to the Source of energy. I will go more into the details when I discuss my theory of  the Big Bang.

  • What is Weak Force Gravity?

    What is Weak Force Gravity?

    Is Gravity a Weak Force?

Gravity is said to be the weakest of the 4 forces, namely the weak nuclear force, the strong nuclear force and the electromagnetic force. Gravity is an attractive property of matter that wants to attract more matter to itself. But, normal gravitational attraction between 2 protons is so small that it is unmeasurable. Gravity can safely be ignored by chemists when they study how groups of atoms bond together to form molecules. But is Gravity a weak force?

We have all experienced gravity when we have fallen down.

The question is why is gravity so weak? This is kind of like a child asking why is the sun so hot or any other silly ‘why’ question a child asks.

Gravity nonetheless is the dominant force in real life. It holds us to the ground and keeps the moon and planets in their courses? Gravity is always an attraction force much like the Law of Attraction but gravity is very important when creating a universe.

Gravity seems like a force field which tries to pull two objects toward each other. Gravity is also a kind of energy because an object inside this field  can use potential energy to do work, such as a hydroelectric dam uses the potential energy of falling water to do work. Is Gravity a force and an energy? Perhaps…

    Gravity inside Protons and Neutrons

Inside atoms the Newtonian energy of gravity between particles doesn’t exist! Instead, the Quantum force of Gravity is born!

The strong nuclear force that holds quark particles together comes from the  gluon binding force. This force acts in two ways, first it holds quarks together to create Protons and Neutrons and it also creates a force called gravity. Wait a minute, let me explain below…

But first consider that, electric charges can repel each other as well as attract. Any everyday object is made up of a huge amount of atoms made up of a positively charged nucleus surrounded by negative electrons but the positive and negative charges cancel each other out.

However, everything that has mass, has the same gravitational attraction ‘force’, so gravity becomes an additive and stronger force relative to electrical or nuclear forces in larger objects.

    Examples of Gravity

An object falls only when the combined gravity of all the atoms in the Earth is stronger than other forces. Think of an apple hanging from a tree and finally falling. The apple was held by the apple stem to the tree. When the stem broke the apple fell because it was attracted to the gravity field of the Earth. The apple has protons and neutrons held together by gluons and these gluons were attracted to the field of gluons that are in the Earth.

Gravity is normally so weak that you can pick up a steel nail easily with a small magnet. But try to pick up a 250 kg mass and the force of gravity is so strong that you can’t pick it up with all your strength.

Note that objects have a mass but gravity gives the object its weight. The more the mass the stronger the attraction to the Earth. In space you are weightless because you are far away from the Earth but you are not massless.

For instance, you would weigh a lot less on the moon but your mass is constant. Maybe you could pick up that 250kg mass if you are on the moon where gravity is much less.

Sand grains and snowflakes are also affected by the gravity of the massive Earth. But their gravitational pull of atoms exert on each other, more than on the entire Earth.  This self-gravity is not important in small objects but bodies as large as planets and even our Moon have enough gravity to make them round because of the strong combined force of gravity.

Another well known example is the gravitational force between the moon and the Earth. This causes the oceans to have tides. In the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick the tides reach 30 feet high and makes the Petitcodiac River flow upstream so surfers can ride the tidal bore uphill.

A large planet like Jupiter gets crushed by its own gravity to extraordinary densities and if the centre gets hot enough to supply a balancing pressure, it might ignite a nuclear reaction to create a star like our sun.

Because gravity is so weak a typical star like the Sun is massive. In any smaller amount, gravity could not compete with the nuclear pressure, or squeeze the material hot and dense enough to make a star. In our universe it is just the right amount.

    Can Gravity Bend Space?

This drawing shows that the force field of gravity is stronger the closer the objects are to each other, also gravity is a long range force that extends the energy field as in this sketch.

Einstein, how can gravity bend space?

My question is how can gravity bend space? Gravity uses a mass attracting mass force so how would it bend space which has almost nothing in it and is almost a total vacuum?

Einstein tried to understand gravity as the curvature of space instead of a force that attracts more mass to itself. He came up with this (out of the world) theory because he believed that light was massless. His theory allowed him to explain why light was attracted to gravity. The easy way to prove Einstein wrong is to prove light has mass. But what about using logic?

    Where does Gravity come from?

What is the force of gravity inside large objects such as stars and black holes? Remember the property of gravity is an attraction between objects. It wants to attract more matter to itself.

Alright, scientists have finally looked inside the atom and found it contains quarks held together by gluons and orbitals of electron particles. A proton is made up of 3 quarks which has a total electric charge of plus one that balances the electron’s minus one charge.

These quarks in a proton are held together not by an electrical force or a unknown force but by gluons which are kind of like a glue called the strong nuclear force.

Gluons are strange because the farther apart the quarks move from each other the stronger the glue force becomes, preventing the protons from pulling apart because of the repulsive force of positive electric charges of the quarks..

My question is, does that strong glue force create a gravity field inside atoms?

If each small proton and neutron has this energy maybe this is what gravity is made of. The gluon is also an attractive binding force to other gluons just like the attractive force of gravity.

All particles of matter are made up of atoms that are constantly vibrating and the hotter the temperature the faster they vibrate. Any extra heat energy that gets added to the particle and you will see it has more mass. This extra mass is due to the extra energy that the gluons are producing in order to keep the quarks together.

This is an observed result, that the mass of atoms comes about 99% from the gluon energy.

There is no doubt that gravity is a property of mass! Space doesn’t curve itself to attract matter. Matter must first arrive to create stars and Black Holes. Did Einstein put the cart before the horse?

The vibration of quark particles in atoms creates a need for a strong force and this gluon force field must also be the source of gravity…

The fact that the gluon force is stronger during vibrational molecular motion when the quarks are farther apart, means it is a long range force like gravity.

Gluons and Quarks during the Big Bang

When temperatures reach into millions of degrees the gluons force breaks down into a plasma of quarks and gluons as at the time of the Big Bang. What if gravity wasn’t a force until a few thousand thousands of a second later?

They say that during an Electroweak Epoch from 10–36 seconds to 10–12 seconds the gluons were separate from the other two forces so that the field of particles was more like a field of radiation having very little mass.

This allowed the particles to expand faster than the speed of light into a void of space to become a homogenous universe into a uniform soup of plasma. Eventually the soup cooled down and the Higgs field added some mass that slowed down the Big bang inflation reaction.

Shortly after gluons added more mass to protons and atoms as the universe became full of matter containing  mass and gravity, not mass attracted by a curvature of space.

In this molecule drawing notice the many spring like gluons holding quarks together.

The Big takeaway is that the source of Gravity comes from Gluons.

Another cool idea is how the use of gravity starts a nuclear fusion reaction to create stars. How does this gluon energy create enough heat using gravity if it doesn’t have this force inside each atom? Is this the source of Gravity?

I will examine these questions in greater detail when I study the Big Bang moment and the nature of gravity.

  • What are Quarks and Gluons

    What are Quarks and Gluons

    What are Quarks and Gluons…

The quark is a fundamental particle that is inside protons and neutrons. There is a strange force that holds quarks together and this is known as the strong nuclear force, named the Gluon because it’s like a glue. What are these quarks and gluons that formed in a plasma of energy at the first second following the Big Bang?

This image of quarks and gluons was without copyright information- Wikipedia is amazing.

Particles of protons and neutrons make up the nucleus of atoms and each one of these particles are made up of three quarks moving at breakneck speeds that are bound together by gluons, the particles that carry the strong nuclear force.

The only difference are the flavor of quarks. The neutron has 2 down quarks and one up version to total zero electric charge. The proton has 2 up quarks and one down quark for a positive charge of one which is equal to the negative charge of an electron so the +ve cancels the -ve to leave the atom neutral.

The energy of this interaction between quarks and gluons is what gives protons and neutrons their mass. Could this force also create gravity? Call me a quack for saying that, if you like…

    What is a Quack?

I remember when I got my first full time job and I had to have a physical. There was a room full of us young boys waiting in our underwear waiting for the doctor to arrive. He walked past us carrying a black bag as I whispered to my group “quack, quack” and we all had a small laugh and some smiles to soften the embarrassment of being naked.

The takeaway is that nerds and scientists often hear remarks that they are crazy or weird because we say things before having proof or data to back up our statement.

I offer you my proof but I don’t use math which isn’t my thing, so I will show you the evidence that is staring at us. Let the mathematicians do their thing.

The Inflation Period of The Big Bang

It starts with a Big Bang and in less than a second the universe has inflated to the size that we would say is infinite. However, nothing is really infinite in the universe except the source of energy that created the Big Bang.

Time starts ticking when energy enters the 3rd dimension we call the visible universe. I see a lot of different data in the times and the temperature range during the first second of the bang.

Temperatures around 10-29 Kelvin degrees to 10-10 degrees K which is trillions to billions of degrees Centigrade after a few fractions of a second.

The point is that it was super hot, much hotter than our sun’s temperature.

During that first second many reactions happened. The first event was at time equals zero seconds when high frequency energy in the form of radiation started to enter the void of space to begin the process of creating a universe.

I want the reader to put aside their disbelief that other dimensions exist. Just imagine that something big is about to happen. The high frequency energy entering space turned into a plasma of matter containing photons, then electrons, followed by quarks and gluons.

At first there are antimatter particles as well but lets ignore them for now. I will talk about the Big Bang sequence of steps later.

    The Big Bang Moment

The experiments at CERN using the Large Hadron Collider has found that the temperatures were too hot to form atoms and that there was really only one force present which they call the Grand Unified Theory or GUT, when the strong and weak nuclear force and the electromagnetic force are all just waiting to become individual forces.

And then the Electroweak – Era was when the electromagnetic force and the weak nuclear force were as one force. If they could also fit the force of gravity into this oneness it would be called the Theory of Everything or TOE.

These are some of the theories during the first second of the Big Bang. I’m not gonna go into the symmetry of energies and all kinds of weird stuff predicted by using math and extrapolating backwards to the big bang moment.

Occam’s razor is a rule that says simpler solutions are more likely to be correct than complex ones. Was it Einstein that said make things simpler but not too simple?

Einstein’s quote supports Occam’s Razor theory.

My intent is to show that after the radiation energy enters the universe during the first about 10-32 seconds the Big Bang was the size of a grain of sand. That seems impossible right?

But wait a minute, what if this was only an opening from another dimension like a portal? Then the rest of the energy flowed out from that  hole into the vast void of empty space.

Who is to say what kind of hole or portal and how big it was?

    The Inflation Theory

The big inflation period  was so fast it only lasted till 10-22 seconds to finish the energy packet delivery.

This energy was like pure high frequency light radiation that was homogeneous and moved faster than the speed of light to create the start of the universe.

Remember there was nothing in empty space to prevent the fast inflation of energy. When I study the Big Bang further I will talk about  the antimatter that was present with the matter.

The Higgs field arrived after 10-22 seconds to slow down the expansion and then matter started to form. First electrons and then quarks and gluons but no ducks going quack, quack…

It was a busy time as atoms formed followed by gravity. Where did the gravity suddenly come from? The universe is full of light photons, electrons and quarks. Some kind of energy arrived as gluons to glue quark together into atoms. This is the mystery force?

My simple theory is that as atoms formed gravity arrived. Gravity must exist at the atomic structure in atoms. This is the most plausible answer in my mind. Maybe more research into this idea will prove my theory to be correct?

What’s the takeaway today? Simpler is often better and if it looks like a duck and talks like a duck, then maybe it’s a quack.

  • What is Matter and Energy made of?

What is Matter and Energy made of?

What is Matter and Energy made of?

What is matter made of? Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity says that E=mc-squared. It’s commonly known that energy cannot be created or destroyed but only converted to something else. Namely, energy can create matter and matter can be made into energy. Let’s talk about the meaning of matter. Matter has energy and energy is always around mass. We are in a physical universe full of matter and energy.

I have a degree in physics so I’m interested in science and always reading about research on stuff that is new. When I started to blog about science I had to go and learn what I didn’t know.

These posts are my way of sharing my knowledge and hopefully helping others with their own quest.  I already took the time to learn this stuff so you can get the benefit of my help without going through the time and pain of research. Happy to teach what I learn!

    Classical Matter

Ordinary stuff is made up of any particle that has mass and takes up space by having a size.  All everyday objects that you can touch are ultimately composed of atoms, electrons and molecules, which are made up of interacting subatomic particles.

In everyday use “matter” generally includes atoms and anything made up of them, and any particles that act as if they have both rest mass and volume.

However matter in the classical sense does not include so called “massless” particles such as photons, or other energy waves such as sound or vibrations.

    Phase States

Matter exists in various states or phases. These include classical everyday phases such as solid, liquid and gas.

For example, water exists as ice, liquid water, and gaseous vapour – but other states are possible, including plasma which is a high frequency form of matter.

An interesting point is that a single molecule of water doesn’t have any of the qualities that water has.

    Non Classical matter

Science is moving quickly into understanding other forms of matter that were previously thought to be massless and present only as radiation such as neutrinos, gluons and normal sunlight.

One of the problems is rest mass. Einstein assumed that photons of light and neutrinos are massless because they are always moving and never at rest.

This led mathematicians to say the rest mass was zero and hence photons are massless. But with new advances in science and with new tools this is all changing.

My ultimate goal is to show proof that photons have mass and that the universe was created from a  high energy source. That is one of my main reasons that got me interested in new science.

    Examples of Matter and Energy

First, let’s talk about some other types of particles that were considered as energy. Some kinds of point particles such as electrons and protons take up a very small amount of space and have a very small mass but what about neutrinos?

Neutrinos are  strange particles. They were considered to be massless just like photons. Then in 2015 the Nobel prize in physics was given due to the work that was done in my hometown Sudbury in the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory SNOLAB, where  they found  that neutrinos come in 3 different flavors. That was enough proof to show that they must have a small mass.

This was amazing, because these small particles come from the sun and change into different types as they are travelling to Earth. Another awesome fact is they travel at the speed of light and go right through the entire Earth without slowing down.

We have a lot to learn about these tiny particles that have mass and that are passing through us at the rate of 65 billion per square centimeter per second.

These are strange particles and I am asking why do they change into other shapes in mid flight? Almost like a communication system!

    Gluons and Quarks are Matter

One other particle that is inside atoms was considered as energy without mass. The gluon particle.

A proton has 2 up quarks and a down quark held together by 3 gluons, the spring like energy.

Gluons are the exchange particles for the color force between the U and D quarks as in this picture and they are responsible for binding quarks together by the strong nuclear force to form protons and neutrons. This is a picture of a proton.

The gluon can be considered to be the fundamental exchange particle of the the strong nuclear force interaction between protons and neutrons in a nucleus.

Previously they were assumed to have no mass but it has been calculated that gluons have a very small mass however, they only exist inside atoms with quarks.

The Mass of Matter comes from Energy

Finally the particles that make atoms are quarks and they have mass but the mass of quarks and gluons doesn’t add up to the mass of the atom’s particles. Where is the real mass?

This is hard to believe but the mass of particles comes from the Energy that the gluons are using to hold quarks together. In quantum mechanics Energy equals mass. Only 1% comes from the mass of the physical  particles! Wow!

    Mass or no mass

I have to wonder if every particle in the universe has some mass. My question is why do scientists say that the photon particle of light is massless? It doesn’t make any sense that electromagnetic particles have no mass but everything else does.

I have found about 20 or more reasons why photons have mass verses the one reason that it is massless. Remember that Einstein assumed it had zero mass because it was never at rest and since the classical definition of mass was that it had to have rest mass.

Consider this that neutrinos are never at rest and the same goes for quarks and gluons which are inside atoms and vibrating constantly, yet they have a small mass. Einstein didn’t have this knowledge of the atom.

Why not say that photons have a very small mass that is too small to measure? Then we can give up the unproven theory that gravity curves space time.

What is the mass of Light?

The relationship of mass and energy is a special one that is apparent in the famous equation E=mc^squared. In Einstein’s thesis it was written as m=E/c^squared. This states that the mass of a particle is equal to the Energy it has divided by the speed of light squared.

Light definitely has energy so in Einstein’s equation the mass of a photon is the energy of the photon radiation divided by its speed c squared. Correct? Well, sort of…

There are 2 or more things wrong with this approach. First, light is made up of many different frequencies with different energies and it would be too complicated if each frequency or quanta of light had a different mass at each individual amplitude and frequency of Energy.

It would mean that white light which is  made of many colors would have different masses for each color and each strength of intensity.

Secondly, the photon cannot be used in this equation because a photon is never at rest but also because its speed ‘c’ is being used in the equation already making the photon an exception to the rule.

Thirdly, quanta come in separate distinct packets of energy and not in a continuous assortment. So my theory is that since all photons have the same speed then possibly they have the same mass that is directly related to the Planck Constant.

The various forms of quanta or photons are separated by frequencies like musical notes and the power of each group of photons depends on the amplitude of the frequency. The mass is very small  maybe the smallest mass of all particles.

    The key Takeaways

This was a small talk about classical matter which have gluons and also have mass and gravity.

The nonclassical matter such as neutrinos and photons also have mass but no gravity because they don’t have gluons.

My last thoughts today are that mass does not equal gravity. Small particles like electrons, neutrinos and photons have no gravity fields but have mass.

So if gravity has a wave function called the graviton which Einstein was trying to find, then it comes directly from the strong nuclear force produced by gluons.

At any rate, this energy field of gravity comes from atoms and molecules as an additive force. The bigger the mass the stronger the gravity field.

Any particle that has gluons such as protons and neutrons has a gravity field and mass. Photons have mass but no gravity field so they are not attracted to more photons. But, as always gravity attracts mass!

Did this help you in any small way to think about matter, mass and energy?

  • What is the Fabric of SpaceTime?

What is the Fabric of SpaceTime?

    The Fabric of Space time

The fabric of space time was proposed by Albert Einstein in 1916 in his theory of General Relativity. He postulated that gravity distorts space so that objects including light from stars must follow a curved path around large bodies of gravity such as stars and black holes. Albert was trying to understand why light which was assumed to have no mass would curve towards large gravity fields that surround stars.

This image shows how a gravity field curves around stars.

During 1919 a total solar eclipse occurred on May 29, 1919. The duration of the eclipse allowed scientists to note that the sun did bend light from a star to curve around the sun.

It was the success of this experiment that led scientists to believe in the theory of curvature of space by large fields of gravity. Little by little this assumption that space is distorted grew into a theory that created the rule (fabric of spacetime exists) which is blocking any consideration of other theories.

My goal is to show that gravity is only an attractive force that occurs between matter. Since space has almost no matter it would be impossible to curve space.

Yes, the Higgs Field adds some mass to particles but gravity waves or gravitational waves are from a theory not yet proven to exist. My suspicion is that gravity  comes from the quantum particles of gluons inside of matter not inside the Higgs Field.

Furthermore, any kind of field around a large star would simply be the gravity field of the star and not space time curvature. Is there another reason why light bends around stars?

What if  light has mass then that would explain why light curves around gravity fields and also why light can’t escape the pull of gravity in a black hole.

    Did Einstein get this wrong?

Einstein made an assumption that light is massless because his General Theory of Relativity says that no particle can travel at the speed of light because mass gets larger and larger the closer any mass travels to the speed of light.

According to this law (or rule) light wouldn’t be able to travel at light speed if it had mass.

However, we aren’t talking about particles that are bigger or more massive or even close to that of an electron. We are talking about light which is special because it doesn’t exist until it is created by electrons and only travels at the speed of light.

Yes I agree that the mass of light is very small and the quanta of light is the photon which is possibly the smallest and lightest particle in the visible universe.

    My Thoughts about Fabric

First of all, any energy field somehow distorts the space that it’s inside of.  For instance the magnetic field around Earth or around a magnet creates a field. A radioactive substance creates a field of radioactive photons and a large mass creates a gravity field but none of these fields distort space so that space is curved.

To come up with bending the emptiness of space is far fetched. Two oxymorons exist in this idea: that space and time is curved (curving of massless things) and that a photon is a massless particle (particles have mass).

Second of all, light curves when it goes into another substance such as air or water but in the vacuum of space there aren’t any layers of substance to curve around.

And third, we have satellites orbiting the Earth in perfect orbits. If the space was curved around Earth you might need different energy mathematics to counteract the curved space. But, satellite orbits are based only on Newton’s law of gravity and don’t need  curved space to orbit around the Earth.

The only evidence that space is curved is because light is assumed to be massless. Yet, show me a proof that light has no mass. And, not a mathematical formula that somehow works out to zero mass.

The popular examples are that photons have no rest mass, which is ridiculous since photons don’t exist at rest. This is like saying unicorns have no mass.

My theory of light will show that light and all photons have a mass and that is why light is attracted to gravity, therefore dispelling the theory of curving space and time.

Look for my post about Light and reasons why it has mass.

  • What is Time in the Universe?

What is Time in the Universe?

What is Time in the Universe?

What is Time to us when we talk about time as something that happened to us or something we are doing in this moment? We store our past as memories and books write about the past as history. We plan our desires as something that will happen in the future. This future is a mystery that often never happens. We need to learn how to live in the now and accept this now moment as a present, a gift actually. That gift comes to us from the Universe each moment as the Present.

Our present time is our moment to be. We can only do things in the now moment. But we can prepare our mind so we are ready for action in the next moment. We can make a plan now and when the now time is the right time we are ready to use our plan. Just like on a movie set, lights, camera, action!

    The Now Time

When you do things it is always in the present, the now time. When you did it in the past it was your now time, when you want to do something later it only gets done in the now time and whatever you are doing or thinking right this moment is in the Now Time. This is all there is! When it comes to time, Now is all there is.

This means the now moment is the only moment you will ever have! So make the best of yourself in every moment. Be happy, be strong, be humble, have integrity, use wisdom, smile, laugh, cry, dance, taste, feel, love, imagine, and even dream in the now…

This is the Universal time, a constant time everywhere even if you are in another galaxy or travelling at light speed the only time you have is your Now Time.

The magic happens when you use the How to Think way and the Law of Attraction in your now time.

Act as if you already have your desire, be grateful for it now and it manifests in your now time like a present that you sent yourself.

Hold that thought in your mental vision or vision board every moment and the universe has no choice except to fulfill your desire. In your mind you already have it so it is in the process of manifesting.

Allow the universe to prepare it and to bring it into your now time when it’s the right now time.

In the now moment, time slows down to focus on your thought. Time almost seems to stop and in this stillness there is a movement or a flow of consciousness.

This flow is the evolution of life. There are tools for us to use in order to evolve consciousness. The tools are our thoughts, feelings and actions in this flowing movement of now time.

    Why Are We Born Here?

The reason for life is using these tools to learn, experience and evolve. In life we use these tools as part of the law of life. Yet behind this law of life there is the real reason for living. The law of love! Let me explain.

We are here learning about love and the power of love. Using the law of love, we explore who we are, we learn, experience and evolve our understanding of love.

Remember it was the power of love that created us and the Universe. Now we are inside of our Creation examining it closely and slowly within this Now Time. Thus we are here to understand love and evolve love into a finer and greater power.

It is the soul that is learning and evolving. The soul is the one who uses our mind and the one who is the driver of our vehicle. Wouldn’t it be nice if we were involved in this law of love by being conscious of it?

We are born lifetime after lifetime to experience things again and again in order to fully understand some aspect of a part that we failed to understand.

Maybe it is learning everything about music that is your reason to live. You desire to blend your love of music into your meaning of love. You go deeper and deeper into that one area until you have mastered each note and each feeling of sound.

Yet how can you evolve love with music? You keep trying and learning each lifetime something new yet you are not fully conscious of this reason, this passion for music, because it’s the soul that is learning and evolving.

So the question is how can we be conscious of our desire and be at one with our soul? I wonder, because each soul has a different interest and each person has different interests. Often these interests are not the same and there is a conflict of interest.

One idea is to listen to your mind in a way that reveals the passions and feelings inside. This can be as easy as being mindful or it might take months and years of meditation.

Since we have free will we have the ability to override our soul’s purpose and say this is my life and I’m going to do whatever I want… It’s simple but certainly not easy.

    How to Live

Be patient, appreciate and focus on life. Learn an aspect that resonates with you and then integrate each knowing into your vision.

Slowly move into your next evolutionary stage of becoming more. More of life, more of love and more of the I Am Presence. As you study and learn and integrate, you become part of the movement of evolution that flows into the Now Time.

You are the I Am presence, you are a part of the whole and the whole is a part of you. Thus “you are that you are”, is more commonly said as, I Am That. I Am the I Am Presence. To be or not to be, that is the question.

Allow time to heal any painful thoughts you have and be gentle with yourself. Remember that the only constant in the universe is change… And time stands still for nobody.

  • What is the Shape of the Universe?

What is the Shape of the Universe?

What is the shape of the universe or the space that contains our visible universe? Our meaning of space is usually the area inside of a container or our living quarters but sometimes we refer to our personal space, namely, my body needs room to breathe and move without something in the way. Kind of like get out of my face, give me room.

    Image downloaded thanks to Wikipedia

What kind of space existed before the Big Bang? It’s impossible to imagine nothing and nothingness but let’s say such a condition is non-physical and it must exist without parameters, no size, volume or mass amounts.

I will name it Absolute Space and it exists somewhere outside of our Universe. A non-physical void and dimension outside of our visible universe.

When the Big Bang happened Energy from a non-physical space or dimension pushed energy into a physical reality.

This became our Universe and this Universe formed a physical Space that contained our physical world, kind of like a floating balloon drifting in a non-physical space.

Scientists have noticed that our balloon is expanding into this non-physical Absolute Space.

At the Big Bang moment, energy moved from a non-physical dimension outside of our universe to our physical universe.

Energy and matter exist together and are not independent of one another. The quantity of matter is measured by the mass and the relationship is according to the famous Einstein’s equation E= mc2. But, what shape did the universe make?

All small particles appear as round balls of energy and all large bodies of mass are round such as our planets and the sun. Why wouldn’t the universe be round?

Matter also exists as antimatter as an example of an electron and the antimatter positron. Bring them together and they destroy each other releasing energy.

During the Big Bang energy changed into matter and antimatter but into their own dimensions. See my blog on Dimensions- What are dimensions? And the 3rd Dimension.

Dimensions are tools needed to create a Universe. (erik lovin)

We already mentioned that a non-physical dimension was the Source of Energy that came into our physical universe. Various dimensions that exist are therefore separated by the frequency of the dimensions. More about that in my blog on Multiple Dimensions.

What that means is that some frequencies are so high or so powerful that the dimension is non-physical because matter can only exist as a physical thing if the frequency allows it to be physical. An everyday analogy is when the water dries it disappears into vapour during a phase transition.

Also, we have to account for the anti-matter dimension that was created. Kind of like a parallel universe within the one Universe but they are in separate dimensions.

    A two for one system.

An opposite energy system happened because in duality everything exists as 2 versions of the same thing. Like hot and cold are opposites of the same energy called heat. Big and small are the opposites of size. Up and down are the opposites of direction and matter and antimatter are the opposites of energy, such as electrons and positrons.

What is the shape of the Universe?

Blow a soap bubble or a balloon and it forms a sphere or round shape. Why would the universe be any other shape? It doesn’t make sense that it’s like a flat plane or a horse’s saddle?

Yet that is what cosmologists and Stephen Hawking suggest because when they add up the angles of distant stars they add up to 180 degrees like all triangle measurements,  which means the universe is flat. Or is it?

They say if the universe is round like the Earth the angles would add up to more than 180 degrees and the horse saddle shape makes angles of less than 180 degrees.

I agree that the measured angles should be 180 degrees but not because the universe is flat like the Flat Earth theory but because the universe is round like the Earth.

It seems that scientists have forgotten that light travels in straight lines unless acted on by an external force.

Why would light travel in the shape of the universe instead of in straight lines?

View the drawing below showing that light from far away stars travels in straight lines and even light from the other side of the universe arrives here on Earth in straight lines. This triangle of geometry is always 180 degrees.

Notice that light might even reach us from the other side of the universe while passing through the empty space in the center of our balloon-shaped universe.

Note, that we will never see this light because it is too far away for light to travel to get here, also the expanding universe means it will never reach our galaxy.

Light from distant stars travel in straight lines to Earth making a 180-degree triangle

The expanding universe evolves into the 4th, 5th and 6th higher frequency-lower density dimensions as the matter and energy continue on a journey back to the 7th non-physical dimension and beyond.

In the brief instant that the Big Bang happened, the plasma energy soup didn’t have enough time to get mass or gravity.

This allowed the energy with only a small amount of mass to spread into a vast void of nothingness that didn’t prevent speeds faster than the speed of light. As a matter of fact, normal light didn’t exist yet.

The Higgs field showed up shortly after the plasma cooled when quarks, as well as electrons, took on some mass.

The point energy of the Big Bang inflation spread evenly in all directions much like a fireworks explosion, making the universe into a round shape like an expanding balloon. With all the matter and energy along the surface of that balloon.

The full step by step sequence will be revealed in my post about Multi Dimensions.

  • What is Falsifiability in Science

    What is Falsifiability in Science

    What is Falsifiability in Science

In a world where scientific theories often sound bizarre and counter to everyday intuition, and where a wide variety of nonsense aspires to be recognized as “scientific,” it’s important to be able to separate science from non-science, what philosophers call “the demarcation problem.” Karl Popper famously suggested the criterion of “falsifiability” a theory is scientific if it makes clear predictions that can be easily falsified or proved false.

Sean CarrollTheoretical Physicist, Caltech; Author, The Big Picture

It’s a well-meaning idea, but far from the complete story. Popper was concerned with theories such as Freudian psychoanalysis and Marxist economics, which he considered non-scientific.

No matter what actually happens to people or societies, Popper claimed, theories like these will always be able to tell a story in which the data are compatible with the theoretical framework.

He contrasted this with Einstein’s relativity, which made specific quantitative predictions ahead of time. One prediction of general relativity was that the universe should be expanding or contracting, leading Einstein to modify the theory with his Cosmological Constant, because he thought the universe was actually static.  So even in this example the falsifiability criterion is not as unambiguous as it seems.

Modern physics stretches into realms far removed from everyday experience, and sometimes the connection to experiment becomes weak at best, especially with new theories of quantum particles.

String theory and other approaches to quantum gravity involve phenomena that are likely to manifest themselves only at energies enormously higher than anything we have access to here on Earth.

The cosmological multiverse and the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics offer other realms that are impossible for us to access directly.

Some scientists, leaning on Popper, have suggested that these theories are non-scientific because they are not falsifiable.

The truth is the opposite. Whether or not we can observe them directly, the entities involved in these theories are either real or they are not. Refusing to contemplate their possible existence on the grounds of some a priori principle, even though they might play a crucial role in how the world works, is as non-scientific as it gets.

The falsifiability criterion gestures toward something true and important about science, but it is a blunt instrument in a situation that calls for subtlety and precision.

It is better to emphasize two more central features of good scientific theories: they are definite, and they are empirical.

By “definite” we simply mean that they say something clear and unambiguous about how reality functions.

String theory says that, in certain regions of parameter space, ordinary particles behave as loops or segments of one-dimensional strings.

The relevant parameter space might be inaccessible to us, but it is part of the theory that cannot be avoided.

In the cosmological multiverse, regions unlike our own are unambiguously there, even if we can’t reach them.

This is what distinguishes these theories from the approaches Popper was trying to classify as non-scientific. (Popper himself understood that theories should be falsifiable “in principle,” but that modifier is often forgotten in contemporary discussions.)

It’s the “empirical” criterion that requires some care. At face value it might be mistaken for “makes falsifiable predictions.”

But in the real world, the interplay between theory and experiment isn’t so cut and dried. A scientific theory is ultimately judged by its ability to account for the data—but the steps along the way to that accounting can be quite indirect.

Consider the multiverse. It is often invoked as a potential solution to some of the fine-tuning problems of contemporary cosmology.

For example, we believe there is a small but non zero vacuum energy inherent in empty space itself. This is the leading theory to explain the observed acceleration of the universe, for which the 2011 Nobel Prize was awarded.

The problem for theorists is not that vacuum energy is hard to explain; it’s that the predicted value is enormously larger than what we observe.

If the universe we see around us is the only one there is, the vacuum energy is a unique constant of nature, and we are faced with the problem of explaining it.

If, on the other hand, we live in a multiverse, the vacuum energy could be completely different in different regions, and an explanation suggests itself immediately: in regions where the vacuum energy is much larger, conditions are inhospitable to the existence of life.

There is therefore a selection effect, and we should predict a small value of the vacuum energy. Indeed, using this precise reasoning, Steven Weinberg did predict the value of the vacuum energy, long before the acceleration of the universe was discovered.

We can’t observe other parts of the multiverse directly. But their existence has a dramatic effect on how we account for the data in the part of the multiverse we do observe. Such as the strong force of gravity.

It’s in that sense that the success or failure of the idea is ultimately empirical: its virtue is not that it’s a neat idea or fulfills some nebulous principle of reasoning, it’s that it helps us account for the data. Even if we will never visit those other dimensions.

Science is not merely armchair theorizing; it’s about explaining the world we see, developing models that fit the data.

But fitting models to data is a complex and multifaceted process, involving a give-and-take between theory and experiment, as well as the gradual development of theoretical understanding in its own right.

In complicated situations, fortune-cookie-sized mottos like “theories should be falsifiable” are no substitute for careful thinking about how science works.

Fortunately, science marches on, largely heedless of amateur philosophizing. If string theory and multiverse theories help us understand the world, they will grow in acceptance.

If they prove ultimately too nebulous, or better theories come along, they will be discarded. The process might be messy, but nature is the ultimate guide.

I hope this falsifiable stuff was understandable and relevant to you. Personally I like to rely on common sense and observation.

  • The Science of Knowledge

    The Science of Knowledge

Science consists of a body of knowledge and the process of how that knowledge is developed. The process of science involves asking questions and generating testable explanations and methods to prove the results which are shared publicly so they can be evaluated by the scientific community.

Scientific knowledge is always evolving as new and better methods and tools gather more and more data.

However, knowledge is only a step towards understanding something, the next step is using that knowledge to actually knowing it by the How to Think method and then gaining wisdom.

This step in the evolving process of knowledge is what I call The Science of Knowledge.

The Science of Knowledge should be a new science. It is almost unknown in the scientific world of facts and data. Not to be confused with the book written in 1794 by the German philosopher Johann Gottlieb Fichte with the same title.

Science without wisdom, we might say, is a problem. The quest for wisdom has become a new goal besides that of knowledge. It is important to gain wisdom from science for the future of the world.

Wisdom is taken to be the capacity to realize what is of value in life, for oneself and others. It includes knowledge, understanding and technological know-how, converted into a knowing to live a certain way.

However, the science of today is, a kind of method devoted only to the pursuit of knowledge.

Think about taking a book off the ledge of the bookshelf. You don’t know that book yet, but you have the intention of learning some new knowledge.

This process of learning something new and how to learn it into an absolute knowing is part of the Science of Knowledge.

One of the ways that helps science evolve is when the inquisitive mind thinks of new possibilities and comes up with a new idea or a new method that hasn’t been used or thought of before.

Knowledge can only stretch the mind slightly but adding imagination goes much farther.

That inquisitive mind that stretched beyond the facts and data that exists in scientific knowledge is using this process.

In this example it was the imagination of the mind that thought beyond the data to come up with a new idea. This is called thinking outside the box.

We can think of this process as a science of the mind, an invisible force that uses Imagination. It was Einstein that said “imagination is the greatest power in the universe”.

Using your imagination is the first step in creating new knowledge. The next step is describing a new process or theory using your ideas and diagrams and then offering it to the scientific method to test and prove the new idea or theory.

When it has been accepted, then adding that theory into the knowledge of science.

The final step is knowing the new idea by using it and getting wisdom by thinking the right way. The Science of Knowledge uses the principal of How to Think, not what to think.

How to Think uses your discernment about all information. It means you don’t blindly follow someone else’s thinking or beliefs.

It doesn’t matter if it’s your teacher, your parents or a religious figure. You will still question all information and knowledge and run that past your internal filters. Does it make sense, to be true? Is it testable? Is it based on fear principles or on empowering principles?

If the knowledge passes this test of discernment you are ready to accept the knowledge as being true, or at least for the time being. The scientific method uses falsification to prove a theory.

The Science of Knowledge then is an examination of the thinking process and the ways that could be used to make that process better.

When we understand the How to Think method we gain knowledge faster and that leads to knowing and converting knowledge into wisdom.

The How to Think method can also be used with the Law of Attraction to allow you to manifest what your mind desires. This way of thinking is described in my book Attracting Abundance.

A new method to test a theory

Karl Popper the philosopher of science argued that science cannot verify theories but can only refute them, and this is how science makes progress.

Scientists are forced to think up something better, and it is this, according to Popper, that drives science forward.

Karl Popper, 1902-1994, is best-known for the principle of falsification, a means of distinguishing pseudo-scientific theories, like astrology and Freudian psychoanalysis, from genuine ones, like quantum mechanics and general relativity.

Popper pointed out that theories make predictions that can be empirically tested.

But scientists can never prove a theory to be true, Popper insisted, because the next test might contradict all that preceded it. Observations can only disprove a theory, or falsify it.

One can sum this all up by saying that the criterion of the scientific status of a theory is its falsifiability, or refutability, or testability’

But falsification is a mere guideline, a rule of thumb, sometimes helpful, sometimes not. Now, some physicists and philosophers think it is time to reconsider the notion of falsifiability.

Could a theory that provides an elegant and accurate account of the world around us even if its predictions can’t be tested by today’s experiments, still “count” as science?

As theory pulls further and further ahead of the capabilities of experiment, physicists are taking this question seriously. The new Science of Knowledge and the how to Think method provides some insight…

“We are in various ways hitting the limits of what will ever be testable, unless we have misunderstood some essential point about the nature of reality,” says theoretical cosmologist George Ellis.  “We have now seen all the visible universe (i.e. back to the visual horizon) and only gravitational waves remain to be tested further.

We are approaching the limits of what particle colliders will do or if they can ever be feasible to build, for economic and technical reasons.”

For instance, infinity and zero is needed to complete mathematics, but it occurs nowhere in the physical Universe.

Mathematics has been used as support for theories instead of using it as a tool to prove testable evidence.

Scientists are rethinking the fundamental principle that scientific theories must make testable predictions. Maybe a new method of gaining knowledge is needed?

Nicholas Maxwell wrote Karl Popper held the view, that science proceeds by assessing theories impartially in the light of evidence, no permanent assumption being accepted by science about the universe independently of evidence.

But this standard empiricist view is unrealistic. If taken literally, it would instantly bring science to a standstill. Science would be drowned in an ocean of empirically successful rival theories but in practice, these rivals are excluded because they are disastrously disunified.

Two considerations govern acceptance of theories in science. Introduction to empirical success and unity.

But in persistently accepting unified theories, to the extent of rejecting disunified rivals that are just as, or even more, empirically successful, science makes a big persistent assumption about the universe that the universe is such that all disunified theories are false.

The assumption is that the universe has some kind of unified dynamic structure and it is physically understandable in the sense that explanations for phenomena exist to be discovered.

But this untestable (and thus metaphysical) assumption that the universe is understandable is seriously problematic.

Science is obliged to assume, but does not know, that the universe is understandable.

Much less does it know that the universe is this way or that way. What came before the Big Bang? What exists outside of the Universe and where is the hidden dark matter of the universe?

Science needs a new criterion in order to think outside the box and catch up with scientific data. We will stay stuck in a 3rd dimension reality of science instead of moving into a 4th and 5th dimensional thinking.

I feel that science is at a crossroad where it must make a new decision. How they think about gaining wisdom and thinking outside the box, will or will not bring in a new era of science?
