What Causes Gravity
Today I was thinking about gravity when I was reading questions on Quora.com and I had an idea that might explain what causes gravity.
Some of the questions on Quora show confusion about gravity and how it works.
It’s strange that we spend every day 24/7 in a gravitational field and yet we don’t know what gravity is.
Well, we know what it does and how it feels and how to calculate the strength of gravity but we don’t know where it comes from.
Isn’t that weird? It’s such a fundamental property of matter and we don’t know what it is.
Today I am going to try and offer a theory of what gravity is.
Gravity the 4th Force
Matter is made up of atoms and molecules, the 4 forces of nature are the strong nuclear force, the weak force, the electromagnetic force and gravity.
Sir Isaac Newton discovered the universal Law of Gravity that is accurate anywhere in the universe.
It says that gravity is a force that causes any two objects to be attracted to each other with the force being proportional to the product of the masses and inversely to the square of the distance between them.
Through everyday experience we know it’s a force that we have learned to live with since birth.
Albert Einstein came up with the idea that gravity is not a force (As per Wikipedia).
Einstein said that gravity can bend space and that the curvature of space is what tells matter how to move.
I mean you can fool some of the people some of the time, right?
Einstein meant that the description of how objects move in large gravitational fields resembles a field of curved geometry around large bodies.
He didn’t know what the force of gravity was and he didn’t know that the structure of atoms are made up of gluons and quarks,
I have to call Einstein out and accuse him of making the topic of gravity more complicated by saying it’s not a force.
Gravity is definitely a force. Except we don’t know what force or where it comes from.
The Logic of Space
Imagine the universe as a container or vessel which we call space.
It’s full of matter and energy such as gravity, and light.
Now imagine if all the matter and energy are removed.
We have the vessel or container of space left.
With this thought experiment, we can see that every system needs space or a container to hold matter and energy.
What does this really mean?
It means that space was created before the Big bang event. It means that our theory of the Big bang is wrong.
Space and the container of space were created before the energy that started the big bang event can enter that space.
The Logic of Gravity
Imagine the empty container of the universe waiting for energy to fill it up.
Let’s follow the journey of massless radiation as it enters the container.
High energy radiation creates matter (neglect antimatter for this scenario) which is a massless plasma of quarks and gluons.
One form of energy becomes a different form of energy.
Eventually, quarks and gluons bond and turn into protons and neutrons which are a bond of 3 quarks held together by 3 gluons, namely like a hydrogen atom.
During this reaction, massless energy became atoms of hydrogen that have mass.
How did gravity arrive in mass? Where did the gravity come from?
Gravity is a force and it seems like it was created by the quantum reaction of quarks and gluons joining together.
Is this the source of quantum gravity? Then Einstein’s idea about gravity is wrong?
The Higgs Field
The current theory is that the Higgs Field adds mass to fundamental particles.
However, 99% of the mass of atoms comes from the strong nuclear reaction (Color Force or QCD) between quarks and gluons.
This is the real source of gravity at the quantum scale and also at the classic scale.
This means that the Big bang event was pure energy until protons and atoms were created into mass and gravity was born.
The Law of Attraction
Gravity is an attraction force. The matter with mass attracts more matter.
This got me thinking about the law of attraction which is a lot like gravity because like attracts like.
But the law of attraction (LOA) even works on your thoughts.
Your thoughts are like things and they will attract the same type of energy to you.
One idea to be aware of is that if you say I want (whatever) or say you don’t want (whatever) it’s the same energy to the LOA.
Does that make sense why the LOA hasn’t been working for you?
My Book Attracting Abundance explains the way to use the LOA by the How to Think method.
You can find it on Amazon or get a free download on my website lovinthings.com
Funny how gravity got me thinking about the law of attraction.
I want you to realize that gravity and the law of attraction are always working.
It’s up to you to keep track if you are moving toward your wants or away from what you want.
Then make course corrections to keep moving toward your desires.
A New Paradigm
I just had another thought that makes sense to me.
What if I blend my science of the universe with the law of attraction.
I wonder if my tribe of Science students will stay with a new group of self-help people?
What kind of new tribe would that be? Maybe Workers of Light?
Let’s see where that idea flys and if it takes a pair of wings or flops?
I think it will make everything more interesting and hopefully, we will have deeper questions about the universe.
Maybe no one else in the world is combining the science of cosmology with questions of our spiritual and mental issues?
Okay, that’s all for today so thanks for being here and as always be well.
