Spacetime is What Time

 Spacetime is what Time  

I stopped using my watch lately and instead use my cell phone for the time. I never really understood if spacetime is real or only a mathematical construct. For instance, what is space? Do they mean the universe that is our 3rd dimension or do they mean the distance that light has traveled during a certain time? What is spacetime about?

Searching for the true nature of time. Where does it come from?

I always thought they were talking about the physical space that houses the universe. If they mean a measure of distance or direction during a certain time, I was totally lost in my understanding.

They use space instead of dimensions. They use time as something that can change depending on what event is happening. I don’t believe that gravitational force bends space/dimensions or that time is altered by gravity or speed. I will add my proof another time.

Gravity and time

Curvature of 4 dimensional spacetime is the mathematical definition of gravity. If someone proposed that as a theory 150 years ago they would face certain ridicule and possible death by stoning.

Furthermore, time isn’t a dimension. It’s funny that scientists don’t believe in other dimensions because they don’t see them but they accept that time is a dimension.

We can’t see time or space so certain theories seem to be false? Time can only be measured not seen, just like gravity. When an event happens in the 3rd dimension as a 4 dimensional spacetime event. What would be a similar event in the 4th or 5th dimension where time is identical? Then do you add another level to time such as which dimension?

You follow me? When dimensions are understood many of these theories will be replaced. The current study of cosmology is so new that scientists are groping in the dark for answers.

They have no idea where dark matter is because they can’t see it or imagine that other dimensions exist. In the physical universe we have, baryonic matter, dimensions and time, that’s all… The rest is created from these 3 things.

Nikola Tesla said “To understand the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration”. Matter has energy and frequency but the most important part of frequency is the time and dimension.

An Aspect of Time

I have been thinking about time lately. Not just what time is it but what is time? We are measuring time all day by our actions and events, when to work and when to sleep or eat.

But, no one knows what time is and where it comes from. Time is part of a movement of energy. Remember when energy moved into our dimension creating the universe, it came in with time.

In that respect it’s like gravity because no one knows what gravity is or where it comes from. The only thing we can do is measure time and gravity. But, measuring doesn’t tell us what they are.

I’ve been thinking that both of these things are invisible and yet we know them intimately each and every minute of the day.

We have an idea that gravity comes from the mass of matter so it’s a quality of mass. Time is really the only thing that is non physical and doesn’t come from our universe.

Think about it. Gravity comes from mass, light comes from electrons in matter, energy comes from matter but where does time come from?

Light doesn’t exist until it gets created by electrons. The energy of electrons governs what type of light is released by the electron.

The only constant of all photons is that they travel at the speed of light ‘c”. That speed is equal to frequency multiplied by wavelength which is a part of time. Einstein’s famous equation E=mc^squared has energy and a frequency in the amount that when multiplied by the wavelength is equal to “c”.

Frequency and Time

Frequency is measured in cycles per second which is related to time. Dimensions are separated by levels of frequency and they are all related to time.

So far this is all very interesting and the definition of time is emerging. An emergent universe is a new paradigm of Creation how a simple idea or system evolves into a complicated system.

Could such a system evolve when we understand dimensions and time?

Perhaps such a system is evolving as I search to understand time.
