Magic, Science, and Religion

Magic, Science, and Religion

Do you believe in magic? I think that you believe in magic even if you don’t realize it. Everyone has a belief system of some kind, and your beliefs govern your religion, diet, thoughts, science and daily life.

Buddha said, “What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life for tomorrow: our life is the creation of our mind.”

The universal law of attraction governs your life.

Are You Religious?

Atheists are people that strongly believe there is no existence of a God or a creator. Therefore, atheists believe that some kind of magical science created the Big Bang out of nowhere.

Many scientists are atheists, and they believe in the power of science to explain everything.

Agnostics think God doesn’t exist, but they are willing to believe in a higher power if given the proper evidence.

A Theist is a religious person who believes in a personal god. They go to a specific church and use prayer and symbols of that church during religious practices.

Spiritual people believe in a God and the free will of the soul. What are you?

I’m part scientist looking for proof that science can explain the Ultimate Truth. I am a spiritual person but not a religious person.

I have an open belief system in which I trust science, but I have faith in the ultimate power source that created everything.

I don’t want to offend any person or group. I am a spiritual person. I am for the truth, whatever that may be.

I am not afraid of shining a light to find the truth. Our mind uses fear to control our behaviour. Let’s try to get out of living in fear.

God Does Not Play Dice

It took the universe (the magic of) billions of years of evolution and creation for nature to work its magic ingredients of life to get us here.

Do you think the Universe was made in 6 days? It’s just as ridiculous as NOT believing in a Source that created the Universe? Where does this leave the scientists?

Einstein was like me because he was a scientist who believed there is a higher power that controls the way all things work.

Einstein said, “Science without religion is lame, and religion without science is blind.”

To believe that religion knows the truth, you must believe magic is real. This is where the logic trolley leaves the tracks and enters the tunnel to fantasyland.

Faith won’t make magic real. Praying won’t make magic real. Pretending that magic is real won’t make magic real. Wishing that magic is real won’t make magic real.

Magic is real because of the science that made the universe.

When we don’t know how science made the universe, we believe it was religious magic.

The Big Bang Event

The magic of God’s science made the Universe. You are here now because of the magic of science. We are proof that God exists.

The magic of creation is a science that we do not understand. If we don’t have scientific proof, we call it magic, a miracle, sorcery, faith, or god’s will. The actual name doesn't matter.

Let’s grow some wisdom and call it (God’s) science.

The Harm of Magic

It’s not our fault that religion doesn’t teach us science.

Religion is a harmful belief if it preaches that magic is real and science is wrong.

Yet religion cannot exist and has no power without pretending that faith makes magic happen.

Religious magic is the cornerstone of religious beliefs.

The everyday magic of faith is also in superstitious beliefs, such as voodoo and witchcraft, vampires and werewolves, goblins and angels, miracles and exorcisms.

Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism & other religions around the globe have their own magical beliefs.

This “religious” magical thinking idea is in many things that religion takes all too seriously.

Praying for Magic

Theists believe that prayers can change the weather or cure cancer, or change the nature of physics in some way.

They think baptism affords some kind of magical lifetime protection or words over a coffin offer some magical perks.

The magic of religion says that a woman came from a man’s rib, that a man lived inside a fish or a talking snake held up his end of a conversation.

They say magical results won’t appear unless the rituals are the “correct” way.

Pray right, be sincere, think specific thoughts, avoid this food and those people, but above all, one must have faith. Because without faith, magic will not happen for you.

This kind of magic is an integral part of thousands of religious beliefs.

Isn’t it crazy that something so unreal is part of most religious beliefs! That is downright bizarre! How did they get people’s belief systems to rely on mysterious magic?

Without magic, there are no gods, no fairies, no lady luck, no warlocks, no lightning-tossing hammers, no Arab flying a winged horse, no Great Pumpkin, no heaven, no fantasy heroes.

The church (all religions) is in the dark about science, so they had to have some kind of story to provide the masses.

They created a myth or spiritual reason why the sun’s total eclipse happens. It was the sun god, or because people didn’t go to church, so God punishes us.

Science and Magic in the Real World

Religion conflicts with reality at its core and pretends we live in a fantasy world rather than in the real world.

Sadly too many people get caught up in that fantasy world.

Religions use faith as their magic weapon. They have twisted our beliefs into thinking that faith alone causes magic to happen.

The church lacks a system of processing the evolution of consciousness because they have been at odds with science far too long.

It’s time we give up religious superstition and understand that faith doesn’t make magic real. The magic is in God’s science.

Meanwhile, magical thinking is what scientists need to take science to a new level.

Religions need to embrace science with some of their magic and merge faith with science. Science can be a way for religions to process the evolution of consciousness

Perhaps these two groups can convince the world that God’s science created the Big Bang for consciousness to experience physical life.

It’s time to mature on our planet and learn how to evolve consciousness during our lifetimes. Our soul is always waiting for us to realize our connection to the Source of everything.

We are spiritual beings living a physical life to experience love while having the free will of doing whatever we want.

How you use your freedom to evolve consciousness is what makes life interesting. Use your free will and create your version of magic.

What will you do with your life?
