I lost my car key at the worst time. It’s always the worst time to lose your car key and for the love of science I looked everywhere twice. Lately things have been disappearing as if on purpose. I keep thinking that matter doesn’t have a mind and nothing matters to matter. Then I think it must be a friendly angel having fun with me. I mean why does everything I drop on the floor roll a mile away into a small corner so it can’t be found?
They say you haven’t looked in the right place until you find it. It’s driving me to walk when I really want to drive. But seriously I finally found it in another dimension.
The thing about a dimension is that we don’t know what it means. The scientific and mathematical meaning is a spatial direction to describe the size of an object. Also it can be a way to locate an object that is inside of a space, such as the GPS system.
My idea of a dimension is to describe the space that the universe lives in. We have called the universe the 3rd dimension because it has 3 spatial directions. On top of that we have called time the 4th dimension.
First of all time is not a dimension. Time is a non physical thing for lack of a proper description. Time is necessary for the laws of physics to work. Time is always moving forward because light only moves forward. You get the idea…
The issue I have with the 3rd dimension is that reality can not exist in one dimension or in 2 dimensions. The first space that can hold life or a universe is inside 3 dimensions.
Therefore, why don’t we call this the 1st dimension or better still the 1st level or 1st density or even the 1st frequency space of life. Maybe you can come up with a proper name for our visible universe?
Then if and when we discover other dimensions we can say the 2nd level etc. instead of the 4th or 5th dimension. Just saying, what do you think?
I read that scientists are looking for other dimensions inside of this dimension. The meaning of another dimension inside of our dimension has no meaning. If you look for a dimension inside of a dimension it doesn’t exist.
But other dimensions surely exist outside of our dimension. I have always said that dimensions are the tools needed to create a Universe.
I found my car key inside a dimension that was inside another dimension. What am I saying? I just told you that other dimensions are outside of our dimension.
If I use the current meaning of dimensions I am able to say I found my car key inside another dimension. But in reality we live in one place and everything we currently know is inside this 3rd dimension.
It was driving me crazy looking for a key that I remember having in my hands 2 days ago. When I found it I was embarrassed in my joy because it turned up in an obvious place.
Almost by accident my finger went into that little side pocket in my jeans. Eureka, I found another dimension to my jeans that I never use. That pocket is like a different dimension in the jeans but we all know they're both in our 3rd dimension.
Maybe everything doesn’t fit into the 3rd dimension so I believe that the universe has other dimensions that we cannot see. Why can't we find any dark matter if it’s in this dimension.
