Einstein Was Wrong 

The abstract if to show that science has been following the wrong idea of gravity. So far scientists don’t know what causes gravity but Isaac Newton’s laws say it is proportional to the mass. Einstein says it’s just a distortion of space that causes objects to fall. 

Is Science wrong or just lost? 

A few things about science have been troubling me, and I don’t think I’m the only one.

In my last post “Does Light Have Mass” I searched for the answers and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it does have mass. 

I’m not sure if I should do a dance for joy or be troubled that scientists have been less than truthful about this. 

Almost all the information I have read says that light is definitely massless and that’s why it can travel at the speed of light. 

There are two situations that have bothered me if light is massless.

First, if the particles of light, (photons) are massless why are they attracted to gravity and secondly, why can’t light escape a black hole if photons are massless. 

Most writers have said that light has relativistic mass because of the speed of its motion. 

But Wikipedia now says that photons have a rest mass of about 1 x 10^-18eV/c^2 which is very small but not zero! Photons are perhaps the smallest type of particle.

It was Einstein who got the Nobel prize in physics for his proof of the photoelectric effect that light is made up of individual quanta called photons. 

It took 100 years for us to realize another Einstein blunder and find that the photon has mass. 

What Does it Mean if Light has Mass? 

If light has mass we can understand why it’s attracted to gravity. All our questions are answered and the simple truth is that light has mass.

If this was a soap opera sitcom it seems that scientists have been hiding the fact that light has mass in order to protect their preconceived theories. 

They needed light to be massless to support Einstein’s theory of general relativity. 

The entire theory of general relativity is based on the fact that space has distortions and light follows the path of curved space. 

Now that we know photons have mass how can we believe a crazy idea that mass curves space and tells objects how to move. Are you kidding me?

They say light doesn’t move in straight lines because space gets curved by mass and that gravity isn’t a force such as what Isaac Newton said. 

Even if space is curved light travels in straight lines unless acted upon by a force. 

Curved space isn’t a force, gravity is the force. What kind of force curves space? 

Since photons have mass we know that’s why light is attracted to gravity fields. How are scientists going to eat their hats, with butter or cheese? 

The good thing is that the effects of a photon’s mass will still be the same result mathematically only for a different reason. 

The 1919 full eclipse of the sun proved that light gets deflected but doesn’t prove Einstein’s model of curved space. 

Furthermore, the huge amount of photons, neutrinos and cosmic rays around the sun would deflect light as well due to refraction by the energy surrounding the sun.

Quantum Photon Mass

Sir Isaac Newton proved the law of gravity and it shows that gravity is a result of the mass of an object. 

Something inside mass that is made up of atoms and molecules is the source of gravity. 

Light isn’t made of particles so we must conclude that light doesn’t have a field of gravity. This explains why light isn’t attracted to other photons. 

But light has mass and so it’s attracted to a field of gravity. That means it has passive gravity but not active gravity. 

Einstein and Time Dilation 

Are you familiar with Einstein’s Special Relativity? His famous equivalence theory E=mc2 came out of this theory, which means that energy is equivalent to mass or vice versa. 

Basically, it shows that for a mass to travel faster it needs more energy. Matter is made of atoms which are made of quarks and gluons with electrons orbiting the nucleus. 

At almost the speed of light, a particle needs an ‘infinite’ amount of energy and doing so will cause time for the particle to slow down to a near stop. 

Since this doesn’t happen to photons it was assumed that they were massless. 

But photons don’t have quarks and gluons so they aren’t affected by traveling at light speed.

The same goes for neutrinos which have much more mass than photons but still travel at or very near the speed of light. 

Gravity Equivalence by Einstein 

Einstein said he had his happiest intuition when he realized that gravity is the same force as acceleration. 

He imagined a person falling down inside an elevator and he would not feel his weight. 

He also had a thought experiment of a person inside a rocket ship.

If a person in a rocket ship is accelerating at the same speed as Earth’s gravity then he would feel exactly the same as if he was on the ground.

The force of the rocket’s engine equals the force of Earth’s gravity. 

What if Einstein was wrong? 

 What if acceleration isn’t the same as the force of gravity? 

I mean why would the force of the rocket engine equal the force of gravity unless the rocket’s force was adjusted to be the exact same amount of force as our gravity?

This is accomplished by adjusting the rocket’s engine but is it the same force as gravity?

Einstein is comparing apples to oranges. The rocket engine’s power isn’t the same kind of force like gravity, it’s only adjusted to mimic the same amount of force. 

Einstein concluded that gravity isn’t a force. What???

According to Isaac Newton’s laws of motion, gravity is a force that depends on the mass of objects. 

You can’t have it both ways, can you? Gravity is definitely a force. Einstein’s distorted space idea only describes how an object will move inside a strong field of gravity. 

The roadmap isn’t the road. The path of attraction isn’t the force of attraction. 

Gravity is a force of attraction that builds the universe from the smallest of particles into stars and galaxies. 

Gravity is the cause of the expansion of the universe. Gravity is a force to be dealt with.


It took 100 years to find out that photons have a small mass, they are not massless as the Standard Model of fundamental particles says.

Einstein believed strongly that light was massless even though he proved that light acts like a particle during the photoelectric effect.

Because light travels at the speed of light even for 13 billion years it was assumed that photons were without mass. This was mistake number one…

Einstein’s General Relativity theory suggests that the mass of matter distorts spacetime and that distortion tells objects how to move in this field of curvature. 

He also said that acceleration is the same force as gravity and that gravity isn’t a force. This was mistake number two.  

He failed to explain how gravity works and only showing how objects move in a field of gravity.

Somehow science and media have twisted this around saying curved space is gravity. 

We can’t blame Einstein for these mistakes because his ideas are over 100 years old. He didn’t have the knowledge that we have now.

If he knew that light has mass he would have said that’s why it is attracted to mass.

If he knew atoms are made of quarks and gluons and are held together by the strong nuclear force he would have said that might be the source of gravity. 

But the sad truth is that we know these truths and we still continue following Einstein’s 100-year-old science. Einstein was a genius and maybe we are the idiots.
