Einstein Was Blinded By The Light

Einstein worked as a clerk in a patent office when he began thinking about what it would be like if he could fly on a beam of light. Using existing theories, he came up with new ways of thinking about space and time. Einstein was blinded by the light and said light is massless. In 1905 he published an article called “On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies” This article was about relativity, and it contained the famous equation E=mc2.

Flying on a Beam of Light

In Einstein’s Special Relativity theory, he said that light is massless. I wonder how he could fly on a beam of massless light?

He also said something just as crazy that if you travel at the speed of light, time stops. Most people don’t know that both of these crazy things have not been proved by experiment.

Einstein also believed that the Universe was static and unchanging until, in the 1930s, Edwin Hubble proved that the universe was expanding.

Flaws in Einstein’s Relativity

Einstein’s Special relativity (SR) assumed that light is massless and that the universe is static, which was the current understanding among scientists in 1900.

In his theory, Einstein said that if objects travel at light speed, they gain infinite mass, and time stops. That meant light can’t have mass since it travels at the speed of light.

In my new book, I examine if light has mass. We already know that the universe isn’t static because we have visible proof that it’s expanding and accelerating its expansion.

Proof Light Has Mass

In my next book, I examine the physics of light and how they relate to Einstein’s theories.

I hope to motivate the scientist in you and show how you could win a Nobel Prize in physics.

I am a theoretical scientist, and I don’t offer mathematical equations for my ideas. I leave that up to the scientist who is good at mathematics.

Einstein's relativity theory states that light is made of massless particles called photons.

This book isn’t for your wife or for scientists that know everything.

My book is for the aspiring scientist who has a passion for learning new things and the imagination to win a Nobel Prize in physics.

My Scientific Method

When we strengthen our own mental and emotional health, we have much more to contribute to others. Let’s begin.

The evolution of science seeks to find the ultimate truth about physics. My goal is to find out if the facts of science are correct or do they need changes.

I am sharing my research with students of physics so that together we will know the truth.

I look at our world from many perspectives. There's the scientific side, analyzing everything on Quora and comparing it with Wikipedia’s knowledge.

Then there are the deep dive articles that happen when I investigate new thinking at the keyboard and allow the information to enter the keystrokes as they arrive.

My next book examines the light of our vision. In this book, I think we can prove that light is physical and has mass.

It’s time to look beyond the theories that Einstein postulated over 100 years ago.

Blinded By The Light

Einstein discovered that light is made up of individual massless particles (quanta) called photons. If a photon has no mass, why is it attracted to gravity?

Light is made up of individual photons that are too small to be detected separately, but Einstein believed that photons are massless.

Light has mass because I can feel it.

After 100 years of research and experimentation, do we still say light is massless?

Research into light is ongoing to find a tiny mass for photons, but most people still use zero as a photon’s mass in math equations. Can you blame scientists for this light error?

In my book, Blinded By The Light, I will look into the mass of light. Is light massless like Einstein said, or was he blind-sided?

The Fabric of Spacetime

The fabric of spacetime is a geometry construct proposed by Minkowski and Albert Einstein around 1915 due to the General Relativity theory.

Einstein was trying to understand the force of gravity, and if light was massless, then why does it curve towards a  large source of gravity. He decided that gravity wasn’t a real force.

He postulated that gravity acts as if space is distorted so that objects, including light, will follow a curved path around large bodies of gravity such as stars and black holes.

Einstein wasn’t satisfied with gravity’s geometric interpretation, and the media has promoted the map of gravity into a piece of actual fabric. But the map isn’t the territory.
